Terms of Service

This is a translation. The operative version of this document is the German one, which is what a German court and a supervisory authority would read. The English below is faithful but not the binding text. Read the German original, or ask us at any time.

These terms govern the use of the website anonymize.solutions. They do not govern the use of the products anonym.legal and anonym.plus, which have their own terms.

1. Provider and scope

The website anonymize.solutions is operated by Voltage Brothers Infrastruktur UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Europaallee 6, 66113 Saarbrücken, Germany (“we”). Full provider details are in the Impressum.

The website is for information. It has no user accounts and no payment function, and you cannot conclude a contract or process documents on it. Using the website is free of charge and requires no registration.

2. Products have their own terms

The website describes two products. Using them is governed exclusively by their own terms:

Prices and features shown on this website are a description, not an offer to conclude a contract. A contract comes about only on the respective product website or through a separate written agreement, on the terms that apply there.

3. Content is general information, not advice

Guides, comparisons and articles on this website, including texts on GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, the EU AI Act and other laws, are general information. They are not legal advice and cannot replace an assessment of your specific case. Whether a particular use of anonymisation meets a legal requirement is for you, as the organisation responsible, to assess.

We prepare the content with care, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, correct and up to date at all times. Laws, deadlines and product features change.

The website contains links to websites of third parties. Their operators alone are responsible for their content. We checked the linked pages when we set the link and found no evident legal violation. We do not monitor linked pages continuously; if we learn of a legal violation, we remove the link without undue delay.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation, that is, an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical at the time the obligation is breached.

Otherwise, our liability for the use of this website is excluded. This also applies to the personal liability of our employees, representatives and vicarious agents.

6. Copyright

Texts, graphics and the design of this website are protected by copyright. You may view them, print them and quote them within the limits of the law. Any further copying, distribution or publication requires our prior consent. Brand names of third parties belong to their respective owners.

7. Use of the website

Please do not attempt to disrupt the website, to gain unauthorised access to the server, or to retrieve pages with automated requests in a volume that impairs operation. Addresses from which the server is attacked are blocked automatically (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

9. Place of jurisdiction

If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms is Saarbrücken, Germany. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply to consumers.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for the future, for example when the content or function of the website changes. The version published here at the time of your visit applies.
